The educational focus of the Finance & Risk Management Centre consists of identifying and managing risk through quantitative and statistical analysis of data and utilizing concepts, theories, and practices of finance to enable well-informed financial decision-making. Economic Development & Trade Centre: When companies or developing countries seek to engage in economic competition on a global scale, they require a keen knowledge of trade procedures, laws, and practices. Also, developing countries seeking a more robust growth domestically contract development projects to vying companies. The Economic Development & Trade Centre aims to educate individuals on how to facilitate both of these policies vital to economic growth. Our focus on international trade covers macroeconomics, trade laws (free trade agreements (FTA), WTO policies, anti-dumping laws). Our focus on economic development aims to help developing countries with economic growth by assessing the risk of governmental projects and their contractors.

The Trade Facilitation Centre supplies its students with the knowledge to effectively operate in the fields of transportation, shipping & maritime, supply chain management, customs clearance, and trade procedures. We teach on an array of sought-after organizational skills that focus on the strategic importance of logistics, procurement, production, distribution, customer service, and technology. This centre also applies a global approach concerning negotiations with foreign cultures, global supplier certification processes and international legal aspects of global procurement.
 
Tourism & Retail Centre: As a popular tourist destination, Singapore has seen tourism grow to be one of its largest service sectors. Also central to Singapore’s booming service industry is its retail sector. The Tourism & Retail Centre aims to encompass both of these service industries by covering a wide range of topics including managing people, suppliers, e-commerce, marketing consumer behaviour, buying strategy, product development, customer service, and innovation. Our curriculum provides you with the strategic thinking and analytical abilities to manage a business in retail or tourism. Students will gain an understanding of the production and consumption of products and services as well as how to identify critical drivers of growth at local and international levels.
