	MH Nazzim Executive Vice President (Asia-Pacific) Product Knowledge & Systems

Professional Experience: With over 25 years of corporate experience, in both small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) and multinational companies (MNCs), MH Nazzim has developed a unique track record in Operational Planning, Organisational Excellence & Turn Around Management.

As a member of the senior management team, Nazzim is responsible for the planning, operations management and monitoring of the group’s activities across the business units; cascading of VSAPAC’s strategy into tactical plans and alignment across the organisation. He oversees the development, operation and improvement of the processes and supporting systems that create and deliver VSAPAC’s suite of services.

Nazzim’s current portfolio includes the planning and execution of Capacity Building & Enterprise Development projects for the VSAPAC regional operations across 10 countries and 15 cities within Asia Pacific. Ensuring that business operations are not only efficient but also effective and that proper management of resources, distribution of services and reports to clients and stakeholders.

His stakeholders includes Spring Singapore , Ministry of Primary Industries (Brunei), the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, Japan Overseas Development Corporation, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN & East Asia, and the ASEAN Economic Ministers Working Group on HR Development.

Prior to this, his last assignment was as Vice President (Business Process Re-Engineering) & Head of Integration for the international operations of Knowledge Universe Education, the largest privately held education corporation in the US. He headed a cross-cultural team that successfully integrated the businesses acquired outside the US, reengineering financial processes, aligning the HR policies & establishing the operating rhythm of the newly established country HQ. In the process, he developed an Integration protocol “Play Book” detailing integration processes & tools of newly acquired businesses.

Nazzim started his career as an Analytical Chemist. Since then he has held appointments as Regional (SEA) Marketing Manager in Salisbury UK, Business Unit Manager for Philips Analytical, Director- Office of Chief Operating Officer of Learning Capital International, Head of Business Improvements for the Singapore operations of Australia’s largest Business Coaching organisation . He has even served two terms as Executive Director of a Not-for-Profit Organisation.

He served 10 years as Asia Pacific GM (Business Processes) with a European based MNC creating and reengineering Supply Chain procedures in China, Quality accreditation in the Indian subcontinent as well as deploying IT infrastructure and application across ASEAN, Japan & Australasia.

Education : Nazzim holds a degree in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, an MBA from Dubuque, and post graduate qualifications in Quality Management (Fritz Institute, the Netherlands), IT (Institute of System Science, NUS) & Marketing (Marketing Institute of Singapore).
